Madd Kruidenier is an illustrator and designer living in Portland, OR. They work both traditionally and digitally, with an emphasis on linework, and a clear childhood influence from comics and cartoons. When they aren’t drawing, Madd plays around with book arts, and binds sketchbooks to keep their hands busy.

Originally from the Netherlands, Madd grew up mostly in the UK and moved to the US at fifteen years old. They now draw from a variety of influences between the three countries, and often make work exploring their relationship with ‘home.’
